Recover from your Sports Injury at Redrock Physio

Sports Physiotherapy is the specialised branch of physiotherapy dedicated to the assessment and treatment of injuries related to sports and exercise at all levels and ages. Sporting injuries can differ from everyday injuries. Athletes normally require high-level performance and demands placed upon their bodies. This places more pressure on the joints, ligaments, muscles and tendons and can make them prone to injury. It's my role as a physiotherapist to enable user friendly healthcare.

Sporting Injuries

Following a sport or exercise-related injury, a course of sports physiotherapy can help you rebuild strength, regain flexibility and improve your range of movement. It can also help to prevent similar injuries in the future and can be used as a way of improving performance. You don't need to be a professional athlete to benefit from sports physio. It can be helpful for many types of musculoskeletal conditions.

Why Redrock Physio?

  • Hands-on Treatment: One of the main reasons to see a physiotherapist at RedRock Physio is to receive hands-on treatment. Physiotherapists use manual therapy techniques to help alleviate pain, improve range of motion, and restore function. These techniques can include joint mobilization, soft tissue massage, and stretching.

  • Expertise and Experience: RedRock Physio has been in practice for 22 years, which means the physiotherapists there have a wealth of knowledge and experience in treating a wide range of conditions. They can diagnose and treat musculoskeletal injuries, sports injuries, chronic pain, and other physical ailments.

  • Individualized Treatment Plans: At RedRock Physio, each patient receives an individualized treatment plan that is tailored to their specific needs and goals. The physiotherapists take the time to assess each patient and develop a treatment plan that will be most effective for their condition.

  • Rehabilitation and Recovery: RedRock Physiotherapists can help patients recover from injuries and surgeries by providing rehabilitation exercises and programs. They can work with patients to regain strength and mobility, and help them return to their normal activities as quickly and safely as possible.

  • Links to Orthopedics and Rheumatology Consultants: RedRock Physio recognises the importance of collaboration with specialised consultants to ensure comprehensive care. They maintain professional connections with experts in orthopaedics and rheumatology. If needed, your Physiotherapist can refer you to these consultants for further assessment and specialised treatment when needed.
