Craig combines thorough assessment, hands-on treatment where appropriate, education and progressive exercise rehabilitation to help patients return confidently to work, sport and everyday life.

Helping You Return to What Matters Most
Craig believes rehabilitation is about more than simply reducing pain — it's about restoring confidence, improving movement and helping people return to the activities that matter most to them.
He enjoys working with people from all walks of life, whether they're recovering from neck or back pain, overcoming a sports injury, returning after surgery, preparing for an event or simply wanting to move more comfortably.
Craig's approach is built around listening carefully, understanding what matters to each individual and creating a rehabilitation programme that is realistic, progressive and tailored to their goals. Every treatment plan is designed to support long-term recovery rather than provide a short-term solution.

Craig's Approach to Rehabilitation
Craig believes the best rehabilitation begins by understanding the whole person, not simply the injury.
Every assessment focuses on identifying the underlying causes of pain, understanding each patient's goals and developing a rehabilitation plan that is both evidence-based and achievable.
Treatment may include:
-
Thorough assessment and clinical reasoning
-
Movement analysis
-
Individualised exercise rehabilitation
-
Strength and conditioning principles
-
Education and self-management strategies
-
Hands-on treatment where appropriate
-
Regular reassessment and objective measures to monitor progress
Craig uses manual therapy selectively to help improve comfort, confidence and movement where appropriate. However, he believes lasting results come from progressive rehabilitation, building strength, improving movement quality and giving patients the confidence to manage their condition independently.
Shockwave Therapy
Craig provides extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT) as part of Redrock Physio's evidence-based approach to treating persistent tendon conditions.
Shockwave therapy can be an effective treatment option for conditions including:
-
Achilles tendinopathy
-
Plantar fasciopathy
-
Patellar tendinopathy
-
Tennis elbow
-
Greater trochanteric pain syndrome (gluteal tendinopathy)
-
Calcific shoulder tendinopathy
Shockwave therapy is always combined with a structured rehabilitation programme, ensuring patients receive the best possible long-term outcomes rather than relying on passive treatment alone.
Sport and Performance
Alongside his work in private practice and the NHS, Craig has worked with football clubs and continues to support athletes within the local sporting community. His own background in running and triathlon gives him a practical understanding of the physical and psychological challenges of injury, rehabilitation and returning to performance.
Originally a runner, Craig has competed in triathlon for more than ten years and is currently preparing for his first Ironman event. This experience allows him to appreciate the demands of training and competition while applying evidence-based rehabilitation principles to help athletes return safely to their chosen sport.
